We’re excited to announce this brilliant opportunity to join our team as our new Chief Executive Officer.

Apps for Good is an award-winning charity empowering young people and giving them the skills they need to thrive. For more than 10 years we’ve worked with teachers to unlock the potential of over 220,000 students globally and have an exceptional track-record, reputation and network of supporters. Looking ahead to our next 10 years, our new CEO will lead the renewal of our vision and strategic direction, building on our strengths, networks and expertise in technology education work and our new climate action and wellbeing programme.

This is a wide-ranging role that encompasses taking on big strategic challenges and overseeing our financial sustainability, leading our highly-skilled and motivated team and developing key new funding partnerships, as well as getting stuck-in to projects.

We’re looking for someone with a deep belief in Apps for Good’s mission and the impact we have on education and young people. You will be an inspiring and empowering leader and manager who can support and motivate a highly-skilled team. You will have experience developing strategic and business plans and executing them in a fast-moving environment, and be adept at building strong relationships. Your background will be in charity management at a senior level, education, technology, start-up, design, and/or climate change or well-being learning.

If this sounds like you or someone you know, have a look at more details here. We’d love to hear from you.

In the next few weeks, our current CEO, Heather Picov, who is stepping down from the role after 8.5 years with Apps for Good, will share her reflections and more on her next steps. Heather will continue to work closely with the team and board of trustees to support our work and the transition over the coming months.
