On 26th March 2021, Apps for Good facilitators delivered our Design an App in a Day course to 25 students aged 12 to 13 from Lister Community School. In the workshop, students got to grips with the fundamentals of app development before building an MVP of their own apps.
Volunteer to shortlist entries for this year’s Apps for Good Awards

Students from around the world have designed an app, Internet of Things product or Machine Learning model to solve problems they care about. We're looking for industry volunteers to review, rate and give feedback on entries to this year’s Apps for Good Awards, helping us choose the finalist teams.
The Digital Creators’ Challenge

The Digital Creators’ Challenge, a collaboration between Apps for Good, Vodafone, Teach First and Hopscotch Consulting provided an opportunity for students aged 11-14 to devise an innovative app to help solve a problem in their local community, for a chance to win £16,000 to spend on IT equipment.
