Start a Computing Club
Start Your Own Computing Club – No Prep, No Cost

How it works
Empower young people aged 11+ with the digital and essential skills they need to tackle real-world challenges. With Apps for Good, running a computing club is simple, engaging, and free, giving young people the chance to creatively problem-solve and build an app prototype for a local cause that matters to them.
Our resources, which reached over 30,000 young people last year, are available to access today. You can begin sessions whenever it suits you, with no specialist computing knowledge required.
Engage with industry
Every club will have an exclusive opportunity to take part in a live online session hosted by us, featuring one of our Industry Volunteers, in March 2026 during National Careers Week - bringing real-world role models and industry insight directly to your learners. To qualify, delivery should be completed within the current academic year, and we kindly ask schools to share their delivery plans with us.
Bookings for Industry Insights Week will go live from February 2026.
Industry Engagement is an exciting opportunity for students to interact with real-world professionals from top companies. Take a look at the video for an example of Industry Engagement in action.
"Delivering Apps for Good as an extracurricular school club gives us the freedom to step away from the constraints of the curriculum and exam pressures. It allows students to take true ownership of their projects and work at their own pace, which fosters a level of creativity and passion that is wonderful to watch."
