Swipe n Swap is an app with a Tinder-style swiping left and right method to swap, buy and sell used clothes, electronics, toys, and more.

Our app is aimed at people who are interested in helping the planet – by preventing these items from ending up in landfill - and the less fortunate, which is especially important with the current cost of living crisis.

Every day we see dirty ripped-up clothes at the side of the road, pieces of plastic, and broken toys lying around our community – which can take hundreds of years to decompose in landfill.

We want to take action not only for our community but for the whole world, it’s important because it’s up to our generation to help save the planet before it’s too late.

Swipe n Swap helps address two really important issues at the moment – the climate and cost of living crisis. Rather than sending perfectly fine, usable products to landfill – our app gives a fun and easy way to swap, trade and sell (at low, low prices) preloved items to others who will make good use of them. This allows users to obtain items at no or low prices and at the same time prevent these items from polluting the environment.

Select the category of product you want. Swipe right if you are interested in a product, when you swipe it will take you to a direct message with the seller, so you can chat about it.

The Swipe n Swap tracking service will only show products in your area to make it easier for you. If you don’t want a product, simply swipe left and it will come up with another. It works perfectly when both users have a match – allowing for a free trade!

We put a lot of time and effort into this app because we are passionate about our problem, with the help of votes we can really make a difference.

It’s the most vulnerable in our communities who suffer most as a result of both the climate and cost of living crisis. We really believe our app is not only a lifesaver, but a planet saver too.
