What is your product and who is it for?

Remind Me is for people who live with dementia and need help to remind themselves of things that need to be done. Our product contains a wide range of all sorts of features.

What inspired your idea, and why is it important to you?

This is important to us as lots of people die from dementia and struggle to keep up with very important things like eating, exercise and having daily doctor appointments. One of our team mates mum works for the NHS and inspired us by telling us what she does at work.

How does your product solve the problem?

Our app has different features one of which is alarms, these alarms will remind the user of daily things which need to be done. It also promotes wellbeing through memories being stored using media such as photographs, songs and books, this will enable the user to take a trip down memory lane.

How does it work?

Remind Me is easily accessible through finger and voice recognition. For logging into the app and searching with in the app for activities.

What is the biggest challenge you faced when creating your app?

Considering all the needs which the user might have and making sure the features are accessible. Another challenge was researching for other existing dementia apps and for us to come up with ideas to design Remind Me providing a unique experience for our users.
