Makeshift sits somewhere between a startup accelerator and a design studio. Like the cost of production dropped in the mid-20th for producing furniture and we saw carpenters turn into product designers, we're now seeing internet production get so fast that it seems possible to work on parallel internet products at the same time. We have no clients and we build our own products to give a leg up to the little guy. My role at Makeshift is as a marketing brain, applying audience growth thinking to business and product design through testing the feedback of minimum viable products as well as devising the strategies for fully launching these products.
