I'm director and programme manager at ignite100, an early-stage digital accelerator programme based in the UK. In the past 18 months I've managed over 40 startup founders and delivered two 13 week mentor-intensive programmes while working alongside VC and angel investors.

I've been a columnist, writer and editor for various websites and publications including The Guardian (media, travel and technology sections), Holy Moly, Bitterwallet and Round The World Flights.

In Spring 2009 I conceived and completed a social media project involving Twitter called Twitchhiker. A book about Twitchhiker was published by Summersdale in August 2010. My second book, Tales from the Edge of America, will be published in early 2013.

I cofounded both a tech startup and a design agency, and was responsible for product management, UX, wireframing and user testing.

I spent six years as a creative executive and manager with EMAP and have extensive experience in copywriting, advertising and marketing. I also worked for six years as an award-winning producer and senior manager for both commercial radio and the BBC.
