What is your product and who is it for?

Our app is called Current Conflicts and aims to provide information for children based on ongoing conflicts.

What inspired your idea, and why is it important to you?

We found out about Russia and Ukraine and wanted to help. Although we were lucky to have an assembly explain it to us other children may still be confused as to what is going on.

How does your product solve the problem?

Our app solves the problem by providing true reliable news for children and relief for children who have read or watched news on tv that has scary/inappropriate images or information. It also has a donation feature that solves the problem of children not knowing where to donate money that is reliable.

How does it work?

Information pages with trustworthy news about what has been happening with each conflict. Donation link where you can donate money for food and clothes to people that need it the most. Relief where you can go if you hear something sad or upsetting on the news.

What is the biggest challenge you faced when creating your app?

Making decisions as a team. Finding trustworthy information about conflicts.
