What is your product and who is it for?
Doer is a dual-experience mobile app that provides gamified productivity for middle-school students while offering stress-free oversight and peace of mind for their parents.
What inspired your idea, and why is it important to you?
When kids reach secondary school, they want independence, but parents want peace of mind. This creates tension, endless texting, and nagging. I wanted to build a trust-based system that replaces parental nagging with an empowering, reward-based routine that works for everyone.
How does your product solve the problem?
Doer removes family friction. Instead of parents constantly checking in, students take ownership of their routines through a gamified dashboard. It also supports UN Goal 3 (well-being) by including an emotional tracker, automatically alerting parents if a student logs a stressed mood so they can offer real-world support.
How does it work?
Students earn points for completing subject-based tasks. It features a unique "2-Hour Privacy Lock" for commuting: location is shared during transit but automatically turns off upon arriving at locations like "Home". Parents view real-time task progress and mood check-ins on a separate, unified dashboard.

Why vote for Doer?
People should vote for Doer because it tackles a universal family problem with a fully working prototype. We aren't just presenting an idea; we’ve built a functional Flutter app with live cloud syncing that proves how technology can foster independence, trust, and mental well-being in families.
